SHIPPENSBURG- The Bloomsburg University lacrosse team lost to Shippensburg University on Monday by a 16-10 score.

With the game tied at 5-5 at halftime, Shippensburg began the second half by scoring 10 of the first 12 goals of the half to take a 15-7 lead. The Huskies closed out the game scoring three of the final four goals, but fell short in its comeback.

Bloomsburg was led by Ashley Childs (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill) with three goals, while Megan Taylor (West Chester/West Chester) added two goals and two assists.

The Huskies go to 5-9, 5-4 in the PSAC with the loss and will play at Lock Haven on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
